As we step into the warmth of late spring, The Chapel reflects on the unwavering truth found in Proverbs 3:5–6:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

This month’s newsletter invites us to lean into the heart of God—to embrace His guidance, even in seasons that feel uncertain. Trust is more than belief; it's an act of surrender, releasing control and standing firm in the promise that God is sovereign.

🌱 Rooted Women’s Weekend: A Beautiful Move of God

May was filled with impactful moments, but none more moving than the Rooted Women’s Weekend. Women from across our community gathered for worship, teaching, and connection.

We heard a powerful message from Karen Shea, who reminded us to trust God’s process, especially during the waiting seasons. Her encouragement to anchor our identity in Christ stirred hearts and reminded us that our worth is found in Him alone.

On Sunday, Aleigha Tucker delivered a timely word asking, “Are you potted or planted?” She challenged us to dig deep into God’s Word so we can grow strong and bear fruit in our calling. Both messages are now available on our YouTube Channel and on the Chapel blog.

🛠️ Building the Future: The Chapel’s Expansion

As many of you know, we are continuing renovations on our new Chapel building—a space where ministry, community, and outreach will flourish. So far, we've completed multiple classrooms and are making significant progress in the sanctuary. Volunteers are making it all possible, and we’re truly grateful.

If you’d like to lend a hand, you can call or text Pastor Jeremy at (304) 377-1537 or explore our Serve Teams to see where you can get involved.

🙌 We’re Better Together

At The Chapel, we believe in more than Sunday services—we believe in building the Kingdom together. Whether it’s joining a Serve Team, attending the upcoming Next Steps Membership Class, or following along on Instagram and Facebook, there’s a place for you here.

You are valued, loved, and invited—not just into our building, but into the mission of Jesus.

Ready to take the next step?

Let’s keep growing together—in faith, in service, and in community.
