The Chapel Kids Ministry

Jesus League:

Discovering God’s Super Plan

This fall, Chapel Kids are diving into an exciting adventure called Jesus League—a superhero-themed Bible experience where kids learn that following Jesus is the greatest mission of all!

What makes this series unique is its superhero theme! Each week, children will learn that the disciples weren’t perfect—but God gave them “super” qualities like courage, faith, and love that helped them change the world. With hands-on lessons, interactive games, Bible memory verses, and engaging activities, kids won’t just hear about God’s truth—they’ll experience it in ways they’ll remember.

Through engaging Bible stories, hands-on activities, memory verses, and fun superhero challenges, kids will:

  • 💪 Learn how faith grows when we keep our eyes on Jesus.

  • 🦸 Discover their identity as God’s children, chosen and loved.

  • 💡 Explore how to invite, encourage, and serve others.

  • 🤝 See the power of community when God’s people work together.

The Jesus League finale celebrates how all of us are called to be part of God’s team, sharing His love and shining His light in the world.

This isn’t just a series—it’s a foundation for faith, helping kids see that they are called, equipped, and empowered to live boldly for Christ.

Jesus League: Superheroes for God

The adventure continues! Each week, kids are discovering heroes of faith who show us what it means to follow Jesus with courage, love, and commitment. Here’s what’s coming up:

Week 5 — Mary the Believer

When the others thought all was lost, Mary held on to hope—and she was the very first to learn that Jesus had risen from the dead! Kids will learn that we can trust and believe God, no matter what.
📖 John 20:1–18 – The Empty Tomb

Week 6 — Philip the Speaker

Philip wasn’t one of the 12 disciples, but he followed Jesus faithfully and shared God’s love everywhere he went. Kids will learn that they can share Jesus with anyone, anywhere.
📖 Acts 8:26–39 – Philip and the Ethiopian

Week 7 — Stephen the Committed

Stephen loved Jesus and loved people, and his faith never wavered—even when people turned against him. Kids will learn that Jesus gives us strength to keep doing the right thing, even when it’s hard.
📖 Acts 6:8–15; 7:54–60 – Stephen’s Faith

Week 8 — Paul the Transformed

Once, Paul (then Saul) hated followers of Jesus. But when he met Jesus, his life was turned around completely! Kids will learn that no matter our past, Jesus can transform us and make us superheroes for Him.
📖 Acts 9:1–19 – Saul’s Conversion

Week 9 — Superhero Party! 🎉

Time to celebrate! We’ll recap everything we’ve learned about the Jesus League, play games, enjoy snacks, and have superhero fun together. Kids can come dressed as superheroes (optional) as we thank God for making each of us heroes in His kingdom!

With lessons that combine biblical truth + superhero fun, Jesus League makes learning about God exciting, memorable, and deeply impactful. These first four weeks set the stage for a season where our kids will discover that they, too, are part of God’s incredible story—chosen, loved, and equipped to live boldly for Christ.

✨ Parents, thank you for joining us on this journey! Keep encouraging your kids to live as superheroes for Jesus—believing, speaking, loving, persevering, and shining His light everywhere they go.

Wonder. Worship. Foundation. 💛

In our Chapel Kids (K–4th Grade) class, we believe childhood is a sacred time—a time to plant seeds of faith that will grow deep and strong. This class is all about helping our youngest students discover the wonder of who God is, the truth of what He says, and the joy of walking with Jesus—all in a way they can understand and remember.

Every week, kids dive into:

✨ Engaging Bible lessons that bring Scripture to life

🎨 Hands-on activities and crafts that connect truth to their hearts

🎶 Worship time that teaches them to praise with joy

📖 Memory verses that hide God’s Word in their hearts

😄 Games, laughter, and friendship that make learning fun

We’re not just teaching stories—we’re building a foundation of identity, belonging, and purpose. Our goal is for every child to know deep down:

  • They are loved by God

  • They are chosen for a purpose

  • They are called to shine His light

From learning about Jesus and the woman at the well to memorizing verses like Romans 5:8 and John 1:12, our Chapel Kids are discovering how big God’s love is—and that His promises are for them, right now.

Because faith isn’t something they’ll grow into someday.

It’s something we’re growing in them—today. 🌱

Faith That’s Real. Questions That Matter.

5th through 8th Grade

This isn’t just “Sunday School”—it’s a launchpad. 🚀

Our preteens and middle schoolers are navigating a critical season—wrestling with big questions about faith, identity, and the world around them. That’s why this class is built to go beyond Bible stories and memory verses (though we love those too!).

Here, we make space for real conversations about life and faith. We tackle topics that matter to them—fear, forgiveness, friendships, choices, and what it means to live for Jesus in everyday life.

It’s a space where kids are:

  • Known by name

  • Heard without judgment

  • Encouraged to grow spiritually

  • Challenged to apply truth with courage

Through interactive teaching, small group discussion, and Scripture study, students discover that God’s Word is alive, relevant, and deeply personal. They don’t just learn about God—they learn how to walk with Him.

They’re not waiting to make an impact someday.
They’re living boldly for Christ—right now.
At school, at home, online, and wherever God leads.

Because at The Chapel, we believe this generation is not the church of tomorrow.

They are the church today!!!
