🌟 Dare to Dream Again: Embracing God's Vision for Your Life

Have you ever felt like your dream was too far gone — or that maybe it just wasn’t meant to happen? We’ve all been there. Life has a way of distracting us, discouraging us, or convincing us to settle. But the truth is this: God never forgets the dreams He places in our hearts.

In a recent message, Pastor Jeremy Eastman reminded us that it’s time to dream again. He shared that when God gives a vision, He also gives the grace, timing, and power to see it come to life. This message from Habakkuk 2:1–3 was a call to hope, faith, and renewed trust in the One who never stops working behind the scenes.

1. Be Still Until You Hear

Habakkuk positioned himself on the watchtower, waiting for God to speak. Sometimes, the most faith-filled thing we can do is be still. When we slow down and listen, God speaks clearly. In the waiting, He refines our hearing and prepares our hearts.

When was the last time you paused long enough to really hear God’s voice? It’s in those quiet moments that clarity comes — and dreams are reborn.

2. Write It Down

When God speaks, He invites us to partner with Him through action. “Write the vision and make it plain,” Habakkuk 2:2 says.

Writing the dream down transforms it from a thought to a testimony in progress. Maybe that means journaling what God said, making a vision board, or even telling a trusted friend. Every dream from God begins with obedience.

Just like Joseph in Genesis 37, you may not see the full picture yet — but every word God speaks over your life is a seed waiting to grow. Joseph’s dream led him through betrayal, prison, and pain, yet every step was preparation for the promise.

Don’t give up on your dream when the process gets hard. The pit was not Joseph’s end — it was his setup.

3. Wait on the Appointed Time

Every God-given dream comes with an appointed time. Pastor Jeremy reminded us, “Delay is not denial. ”Waiting isn’t punishment — it’s preparation.

When we wait with faith, we grow stronger. Isaiah 40:31 promises that “those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” God is never late; He’s aligning things we cannot yet see.

4. Protect the Dream

Not everyone will understand what God has spoken to you — and that’s okay. Pastor Jeremy shared how Joseph’s brothers reacted with jealousy and disbelief. Protecting your dream doesn’t mean hiding it out of fear, but guarding it with prayer, wisdom, and discernment.

Surround yourself with people who speak life and faith.

At The Chapel, we believe in walking together — praying, believing, and encouraging one another as we pursue God’s promises. You don’t have to protect your dream alone. We’re called to be a community of believers who nurture one another’s faith.

5. Run With the Vision

When the time comes, don’t hesitate — run. Pastor Jeremy said, “Once a vision is written, it demands action.” Faith requires movement. Take one step, then another. Even if you don’t see the whole staircase, keep climbing.

Faith isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about trusting the One who does.

6. The Dream Will Speak

You don’t have to defend what God has promised. In time, the dream will speak for itself. God’s timing and faithfulness will confirm what He placed in your heart.

As Pastor Jeremy said, “God’s promises don’t expire — they mature.”Keep nurturing the dream, keep believing, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.

A Call to Action

If God has been stirring something in your heart — a dream, a calling, or a step of faith — this is your reminder: it’s time to dream again. Don’t let fear or disappointment silence your faith. The same God who planted the vision will empower you to fulfill it.

Join us at The Chapel as we continue learning, growing, and dreaming together. You’re not walking this journey alone — we’re believing with you for everything God has promised.

🙏 A Prayer for Dreamers

Lord, awaken the dreams You’ve placed inside me. Help me to wait well, protect what You’ve entrusted to me, and move when You say go. Strengthen my faith in the waiting, and give me courage to believe that You are faithful to complete what You’ve started. I surrender my dreams back to You — for Your glory and Your timing. In Jesus’ name, amen.
